A 2011+ F150 is light years ahead of it's 2008 counterpart. We have a 2013 at work and test drove 2013 Tundra and a 2013 Silverado. The F150 and the Tundra were neck and neck. Had our deal with Toyota panned out, we would have gone that route but the dealership claimed the vehicles scheduled for us was heavily damaged in transport and the factory was no longer shipping / making 2013s in the configuration we were looking for. The 2014s were adding $7k+ of cost and that threw the pricing way out. Definitely, the Tundra is a nice truck. One nice thing you can do with Ford is pre purchase all your maintenance for X years or Y miles. And it is good at any Ford Dealer in Canada or the USA. We have a 2010 Escape at work which we did buy the maintenance package on and it more than paid for itself. It covered wear and tear items like brakes as well. Sounds like you've had good luck with your Titan. But stories like yours are far and few between.
